NFBWA 2021 Fee Increase
Effective January 1, 2021, the North Fort Bend Water Authority (NFBWA) is increasing its mandated surface water fee from $4.35 per 1,000 gallons to $4.65 per 1,000 gallons. This Subsidence District mandated fee, reflected as a separate line item on your water bill, is paid directly to the NFBWA and is used to design, build and operate existing and new infrastructure, which delivers surface water to your district.
Fort Bend Municipal Utility District No. 142 (FBMUD 142) also has successfully participated in another year of the NFBWA Larry’s Toolbox water conservation program and will receive rebates from the NFBWA for its participation in 2020. The District expects to use the rebates to offset operation and maintenance expenses or to construct new projects in the District.
